What are some ways we can stop children from playing violent video games? More and more children are playing violent video games and they are becoming more aggresive. How can we stop them from playing such violent content? I myself propose a new rating system where ratings become based on age not content which is similar to the MPAA ratings for movies.OK, I am a teen too and I like violent video games. But I do not want my school to be like Columbine and have these teens who have played so many violent video games to lose grip on reality and start thinking video games are real. Parents however, are the best way to stop teens from playing violent video games but the problem is they do not. Basically, it is only the government who can make a law to stop teens from playing violent video games. Parents should stop teens but many do not so maybe a law should be created. What should this law be? Maybe a law where parents must monitor their children's take of vilent video games. What do you think? What do you think if:A new law should be created requiring all schools across the nation to have an annual workshop that parents must attend each year. This seminar should have doctors, psychologists, and police officers discuss the dangerous effects of violent video games on children. Parents should be able to come to realize that they need to say no to violence inside their homes.

- not buy them for them, for starters.
- then monitor what they do play - be aware of whats at their friends' houses and what kinds of parents their friends have...
- be a p-a-r-e-n-t!
- most people don't want to do that because its too difficult, or requires too much energy.
- its easier just to hand them whatever they want, pat them on the head and send them off to the tv becuase at least they're out of your face for a few minutes.
- its a sad, sad situation.
